• • Material Handler Impact Property Solutions is searching for a Material Handler for our granite and stone countertops department. In this position you will ensure material is transported in a timely manner while always adhering to the strictest safety guidelines. The Material handler is expected to uphold Impact Property Solutions best practices that ensure meeting management and customer expectations. Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

• Move products to where they are needed most, whether that is from the production line to storage areas or from storage areas to shipment points for delivery to installers.
• Perform packaging, handling, transportation and other related shipping duties.
• Perform filling work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist installation crews and customers load completed jobs, as needed.
• Adhere to and enforce all applicable Federal, state, local and OSHA
• Work closely with Counter Tops Management, Sales representatives and purchasing department to keep inventory accurate in the computer system and to quickly correct mistakes that have occurred.
• Maintain an efficient, clean & organized work area in compliance with all safety regulations.

Competencies

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
• Aptitude towards equipment operation and trouble shooting.
• Become Proficient in the inventory management software system
• Excellent product knowledge.
• Strong Organizational skills.
• Ability to stay focused for long periods of time.
• Familiarity with common material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
• Knowledge of how receiving or missed receiving, will affect inventory control with AP and the same with credits with AR

Required education and experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; 1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred.
• Countertop Industry knowledge is a plus

Physical demands

• May be required to stand for long periods of time.
• May involve some repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part container.
• Do to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
