Floor Technician

The Floor Technician’s role is to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of various areas. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, conducting minimal repairs and inventory checks, arranging furniture and fixtures, organizing supplies, and keeping floors free from obstructions.

Experience Responsibilities:

• Clean, sweeps, vacuum, and polishes floors.
• Operates designated floor equipment to include auto scrubber, burnishes, buffers, carpet extractors to strip, scrub, and shampoo and wax floors, all surface cleaners, or other larger mechanical machines.
• Strip/waxing and knowledge of battery-operated floor care equipment.
• Use of buffers, carpet extractors, dry foam shampooer.
• Experience in stripping and floor finishing.
• Knowledge of and adherence to specific floor care processes, in addition to knowledge and the safe use of various chemical agents (MSDS Sheets) is required.
• Assist in daily cleaning of office area, gyms, restrooms, public areas, meeting rooms, or any or all areas of the facility with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ Years of Age
• Ability to Pass Drug Screening
• Ability to Pass Background Screening
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
