Dish Machine Operator/Dishwasher

The dishwasher maintains cleanliness and safety standards of the operation.

Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:

• Maintaining a clean and well-organized workstation
• Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
• Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
• Cleaning kitchen appliances and other equipment
• Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
• Empty, rinse and reline trash bins
• Sweep and mop all floors regularly to ensure they remain clean and dry

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: No formal education or prior experience is required; short-term, on-the-job training is provided.
• Speed and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and maintain a high pace.
• Attention to Detail: Ensures that assigned tasks are completed accurately as directed.
• Teamwork & Communication: Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly with team members and management.
• Sanitation Knowledge: A basic understanding of or willingness to learn food safety regulations.
• Flexible: must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
