Tool Design Engineer

Position Offered by No Fee Staffing Agency Must have the following in order to apply: - Bachelor's degreein Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field - Six (6) years of experiencewith 3D modeling software (Creo, SolidWorks, or similar) - Six ( 6)+ years of CAD/CAM (Creo) and Windchill PLM experience - Six ( 6)+ years of Harness Board design experience Preferred Qualifications: - CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly knowledge - Experience with robotics, automation, and Lean Manufacturing - Problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Skills: - Experienced tooling engineers with CAD design expertise and a background in manufacturing, automation, and production tooling - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling design, and engineering principles Required Screenings: Employer will discuss. Job Description: As a Tool Design Engineer, you will design and develop tooling solutions including jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies, harness boards, prototype models, and robotic end-of-arm tooling using Creo/SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and Windchill PLM systems. - Design and develop production and experimental tooling solutions - Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation - Support tooling for manufacturing, assembly, automation, and robotics applications - Ensure designs meet safety, ergonomics, quality, and performance requirements - Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to solve complex production challenges Work Environment: Will be discussed with applicant.
