Pediatrician

A well-established, physician-led pediatric private practice in Southwest Louisiana is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join its team full-time. The group has three offices in the Lake Charles area (Lake Charles, Sulphur and Moss Bluff) and offers a strong balance of busy outpatient practice and quality of life. Experienced pediatricians and graduating residents are both welcome. What You'll Do

• Provide full-spectrum pediatric care from newborns through adolescence
• Conduct well-child exams, developmental screenings and immunizations
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions and minor injuries
• Round in the newborn nursery on a rotating basis (no NICU coverage, no delivery attendance)
• Keep precise, timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with a large team of pediatricians, NPs and PAs plus local specialists
• Use in-house lab, X-ray and pharmacy resources for efficient patient care

What You Bring

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Unrestricted Louisiana Medical License (or eligible) and valid DEA registration
• Current NRP and CPR strongly encouraged
• Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, permanent
• 4.5-day workweek, Monday-Friday clinic hours with shared, rotating weekend clinic coverage
• Call shared equally among providers; inpatient duties limited to well-baby newborn rounding
• May rotate among sites or be based primarily at one location
• Competitive guaranteed base salary for the initial years plus a collection-based incentive bonus
