Maintenance Technician

Current opening in Fairfield for Foundry Maintenance Technician. Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the heavy industrial machinery, systems, and facility infrastructure used in metal casting operations. Given the harsh, high-heat, and dust-heavy environment of a foundry, this role emphasizes rigorous preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and strict safety compliance to maximize equipment uptime and ensure worker safety. The Maintenance Technician performs skilled corrective and preventive maintenance on all foundry equipment, systems, and machinery. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and is capable of diagnosing complex issues under pressure to minimize production downtime. This position requires working in a physically demanding environment featuring high heat, heavy dust, loud noise and specialized safety hazards.
