As North America's leading vertically integrated travel, hospitality, and leisure management groups, we can oversee all aspects of the vacation- from the moment a guest books a trip to the time they return home. Serving more than three million passengers annually, each of our highly respected brands offers unique benefits and a wide portfolio of destinations. Grow your career as Manager, CDP, Audience Activation and Analytics within ALG Vacations. This role leads data-driven customer marketing for ALG Vacations’ B2C brands, Apple Vacations, BeachBound Vacations, CheapCaribbean Vacations, Funjet Vacations and United Vacations. The role translates campaign and lifecycle requirements into audience definitions, builds and validates audiences in the composable customer data platform and activation tools, and partners with marketing, data, technology, analytics, and external teams to support email, SMS, paid media, and other customer channels. The position also leads marketing technology projects, platform integrations, customer review activation, support-ticket resolution, process improvements, and new targeting and personalization initiatives, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer marketing execution and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Audience Strategy and Activation

  • Lead the translation of campaign briefs, lifecycle requirements, and channel strategies into audience definitions, segmentation logic, and activation plans.
  • Build, maintain, and oversee audiences across the composable CDP, email, SMS, paid media platforms, and other activation destinations.
  • Analyze audience characteristics and customer behavior to recommend segments, audience refinements, personalization use cases, and activation strategies.

Data and Analytics

  • Use SQL and partner with the BigQuery owner and technical teams to evaluate data sources, fields, joins, and dependencies; apply those skills to audience builds, troubleshooting, validation, measurement, and segmentation analysis.
  • Partner with analytics and channel teams to interpret audience and campaign data and identify opportunities for improved targeting, personalization, and performance.

Platform and Technology Operations

  • Lead marketing technology projects, platform integrations, customer review activation, support-ticket resolution, process improvements, and new targeting and personalization initiatives.
  • Own customer marketing support tickets with Trisept, ALG Vacations’ technology partner, from submission through testing, resolution, escalation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead support for the PowerReviews integration and activate customer reviews and other user-generated content across relevant marketing channels.
  • Use the email and SMS platforms to support audience activations, campaign setup, testing, and execution.
  • Use AI tools, including ChatGPT, Iterable Nova, and other approved AI capabilities, to support audience development, campaign execution, data analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and project management.
  • Apply sound judgment and human review to validate AI-generated outputs, protect customer and company data, and ensure accuracy, privacy, compliance, brand standards, and marketing requirements are maintained.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency, scale personalization, automate repeatable workflows, and enhance customer marketing experiences.

Quality Assurance and Governance

  • Establish and oversee the use of approved customer attributes, inclusions, exclusions, suppression rules, control groups, holdouts, and testing populations.
  • Own audience QA by validating eligibility, record counts, overlap, suppression, activation settings, and campaign requirements; investigate and resolve discrepancies before launch.
  • Oversee recurring audience refreshes and campaign calendars while maintaining documentation, naming conventions, metadata, dependencies, approvals, and QA results.
  • Ensure audience governance, customer-data governance, privacy, consent, and compliance requirements are followed across audience development and activation workflows.

Cross-Functional Partnership and Project Management

  • Lead collaboration with email, SMS, paid media, CRM, digital, analytics, and other channel owners; communicate project status, risks, blockers, and dependencies and drive resolution.
  • Lead customer marketing and marketing technology initiatives from requirements through implementation, launch, and post-launch review, including integrations, data enhancements, and process improvements.

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications

  • Experience using generative AI or marketing AI tools or demonstrated ability to learn and apply tools such as ChatGPT and Iterable Nova in a business environment.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated recommendations and outputs for accuracy, relevance, privacy, security, compliance, and potential customer impact.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality assurance, organization, prioritization, stakeholder management, project-management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear audience criteria and execution plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with marketing, data, technology, analytics, and external partner teams.
