Cook 2 - Intermediate Line Cook

A Cook 2 requires good communication and intermediate culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience, paired with a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. The Cook 2 will work single stations in the kitchen and require some supervision and training. The hourly rate for this position is $17.50. This position is also eligible to earn overtime.

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work at least a single station in the kitchen, multiple stations preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize work activities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Prepares menu items as needed to meet guest satisfaction.
• Expected to replicate food items prepared consistently.
• Follows all state and local health and food safety regulations.
• Willingness to learn.
