Cafeteria Attendant

The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking a Cafeteria Attendant to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street. You'll join our Culinary team, preparing food for Hyatt Centric Colleagues and taking care of the Cafeteria area, cleanliness. Part-time position. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.

The Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming employee cafeteria environment. This position assists with food service, stocking supplies, cleaning dining and service areas, and providing excellent customer service to colleagues and guests as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cafeteria service area before and during meal periods.
• Replenish food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and other supplies as needed.
• Ensure the cafeteria remains clean, sanitary, and organized throughout the shift.
• Clear and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and other dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as assigned.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and beverage products.
• Properly dispose of trash and recyclables and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
• Provide friendly and professional service to colleagues and guests.
• Support special events, meetings, or employee functions when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous food service, cafeteria, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
