Banquet Captains leads other Banquet associates, and their responsibilities will include but are not limited to coaching, giving direction, leading a banquet function, overseeing event space set-up and training. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and ensuring their team is knowledgeable of menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, room set-up according to diagram, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation; room refreshes and maintaining a sanitary environment. • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
• Minimum 3 years prior banquets experience required.
• Prior Banquet Captain experience a plus.
• This position requires flexibility. Candidates must be available to workday, afternoon, evening, weekend and holidays shifts. Schedules are completed based on business needs.
