Sr Software Engineer - Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Software Engineer (Spring Reactor, AWS & MongoDB) Position Overview

Work on the development of sophisticated and scalable software systems and applications using modern programming technologies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to software design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation while working with Java, Spring Reactor, AWS, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience developing software components, and the ability to work in an Agile environment while continuously learning and adapting to emerging technologies.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

• May lead small projects involving analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software enhancements and/or new products.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Develop code for commercial and end-user applications or software and tools supporting infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Write code at the component level.
• Work with large or highly sophisticated software programs and systems.
• Interact with users to define system requirements and identify necessary modifications.
• Conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software components, fixes, improvements, and/or new systems and applications.
• Design and develop highly scalable software systems and applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously develop technical skills.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Reactor.
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in MongoDB.
• Proactive approach toward continuous learning and skill development.
• Interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Java experience.
• Spring Reactor experience.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud infrastructure experience.
• MongoDB experience.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
