Programmer Analyst (Ref# PA112SKA)

HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Programmer Analyst (Ref# PA112SKA). Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Under direct supervision, assist in the analysis, implementation, coding, documentation, maintenance, and support of computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems for client projects. Write specifications and reports, code, test, and debug computer programs. Review user requests and software program requirements for new and modified programs. Analyze large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns. Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis. Support business analytics initiatives across departments. Build, develop, and test ELT/ETL processes. Support the data engineering team in production support of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ensuring SLA compliance, root cause analysis, and seamless incident resolution. Design and optimize ETL pipelines. Write and refactor the code into reusable libraries, APIs, and tools to ensure clear, efficient, tested, and high-quality code. Play an active role in pursuing engineering excellence by fixing bugs and refactoring the code base where necessary. Verify the integrity of data used for analysis. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements, likely requiring comprehensive documentation. Document data models, ELT/ETL processes, and data visualization dashboards for future reference and use. Provide support on big data solutions. Partner with data/database and application teams to troubleshoot SQL performance issues, implement indexing strategies, and fine-tune stored procedures. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical project stakeholders to ensure they understand the implemented solutions. Support team members with data modeling, ETL best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies. Use of ETL, Big Data, Python, SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Developer, Data Consultant, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and SQL. 40hrs/week.
