This position 7+ years of experience. \ POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: - Recognize and initiate business development opportunities - Perform and check environmental engineering calculations - Develop a client base of municipal clients water/wastewater utilities in the Northwest Arkansas area. - Network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities - Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates. - Manage all project elements, including budget, schedule, and quality while striving to achieve both project profitability and client satisfaction. - Oversee the production of effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications) - Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings - Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project \ POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Licensed Professional Engineer - Experience in water, sewer and wastewater design - Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Proficient in the use of AutoCAD - Knowledge of one or more design software packages, including HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, SewerGems, InfoWater, WaterGems, BioWin, etc. - Must possess a valid drivers license - Must complete a background check \ EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\ \ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering\ \ SALARY RANGE:\ \ Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is \$95,000 - \$145,000.
