Lead Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Research Emphasis Autism Center, Sunnyvale, CA $130,000 - $140,000/year | Full-time | 100% clinic-based About the Center This autism center in Sunnyvale offers a highly sought-after intensive program where kids attend five days a week. Along with therapy, the center offers enrichment programs in piano, violin, chess, gymnastics, and more! Incorporating sensory activities and building motor skills is a huge part of the whole-child focus of this center. Speech services are part of a broad, well-rounded program for each child. Because children attend daily, caseloads are small. Clinicians get to know each child and family well, follow progress closely, and have time to give each session their full attention. This particular role is unique! The center is partnering with several nearby universities to further the research in understanding autism, and this position requires a knowledge of research methodology and data collection. The Lead SLP will liaise with university teams and provide direction for therapists in the center. If you have an Ed.D. or Ph.D. or are interested in earning a doctoral level degree, this might be an ideal role for you!
