Exhaust Cut & Form Operator 2nd Shift

Summary of Job Duties:

• Reads and interprets basic job orders to be processed.
• Sets master and fixtures for appropriate cutting and forming processes.
• Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices, maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.
• Operates vertical and horizontal bandsaws, belt grinders, and hydraulic end forming presses safely and effectively.
• Maintains specifications through observation, jigs fitting inspections, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, and replacing worn tools.
• Uses assembly fixtures to check work and perform detailed inspection of pipes bent.
• Adheres to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Job Skills and Knowledge:

• Must possess good conceptual and problem-solving skill sets.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to work independently with little instruction.
• Must be able to establish and maintain professional working relationships with other team members.

Work Experience:

• Experience working with stainless steel is preferred.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
• May need to lift 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Position starts at $17.49 with a progression rate increase.
