Shuttle Van Driver - SHOALS Area

Highland Express is DTMO approved, and ready to meet all your military transportation needs. We're hiring Non-CDL van shuttledrivers for the Shoals area (Colbert/Lauderdale counties). Job duties/guidelines include:

• T ransporting military recruits in a 15 passenger van from the Shoals Area to Nashville, TN picking up additional passengers along the route.
• Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
• Arrange to pick up passengers on a regular schedule.
• Notify dispatchers or company mechanics of vehicle problems.
• Complete accident reports when necessary.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection on vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water.
• Times and hours p/week will vary--P/T position 20 hours/week (more or less/depending on numbers of recruits).

Requirements:

• Valid driver license with STAR ID.
• For insurances purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years-of-age.
• Applicants must live within the NW Shoals area.
• Applicants MUST pass background check and drug test.
• MUST pass DOT physical and MVR records check.
