Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders, including expediting and follow-up to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare accurate quotes, pricing, and lead times in alignment with company policies
- Coordinate release and shipment of parts orders as required
- Read and interpret parts manuals, drawings, and technical materials
- Process customer credits and warranty claims in compliance with manufacturer requirements
- Source parts and manage vendor relationships to meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, and inventory transactions
- Communicate professionally with customers to build trust and satisfaction
- Collaborate with service and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
- Perform additional administrative and support duties as assigned
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical or vocational training in parts management or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 3–5 years of experience in parts coordination or counter sales preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction or heavy equipment parts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CDK or similar ERP system a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Customer-focused attitude with commitment to service excellence
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
