HiFyve is hiring a Plant Maintenance Mechanic in the Food & Beverage industry in St. Paul, MN!
Salary: $33 an hour plus $1 shift differential Shift: Night Shift 6 pm - 6 am rotating 2-2-3 schedule Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday one week then Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat on the other week Location: St. Paul, MN
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Provide technical support and training to other maintenance personnel.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
- Experience with refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as needed.
