Position Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner with assigned properties and CCI stakeholders to expand our culture of continuous improvement by engaging employees in Herschend’s Kaizen-based CCI methodology.
  • Partner with the CCI Manager to introduce CCI at newly acquired properties by defining priorities, engaging local leaders, training on and supporting adoption of the methodology and tools.
  • Serve as a CCI facilitator by guiding cross-functional teams through structured improvement events, maintaining productive discussion, and helping participants reach actionable decisions.
  • Partner with property leadership to identify, assess, and prioritize business opportunities where CCI tools can improve processes, host and guest experience.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate Kaizen events across multiple properties.
  • Define, track, and analyze metrics that demonstrate CCI program adoption, progress, outcomes, and business impact.
  • Develop and maintain communications that keep property and enterprise leaders informed of improvement initiatives, results, and overall CCI program progress.
  • Train and coach employees and leaders at assigned properties on CCI methodology and tools, building their capability to identify and sustain improvements.
  • Support additional process improvement initiatives and analytical projects that align with CCI program priorities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in process improvement, business process analysis, operational improvement, or facilitation.
  • Prior experience in theme park, hospitality or entertainment industry preferred.
  • Ability to complete Herschend-provided certification to lead Kaizen events within six months of hire.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional presence, and the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from frontline hosts to senior leaders.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strong training and coaching skills, with experience supporting teams that include diverse roles and organizational levels.
  • Self-starter and collaborative team player who is passionate about improving the guest experience and can independently advance work while engaging others in shared solutions.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities.
