Now the pay. It's hourly, scaling from $25.00 to $28.50 an hour based on your experience. Most drivers average about $1,500 a week, roughly $78,000 a year.

What you'll need:

• A valid Class A CDL
• At least 1 year of experience, meaning 6 months of OTR experience within the last 12 months, or 12 months in the past 5 years
• Urine and hair follicle drug screening
