Original job description
Grocery Delivery Driver | Opelika & Regional Area | $1,200-$1,500/Week | Home Every Day
Same bed every night, same kind of freight every day, and nothing to lift. This grocery run covers a handful of familiar lanes, and whether you work five days or six decides where you land in the pay range.
What you'll make
- $1,200 to $1,500 a week on average, about $62,400 to $78,000 a year
- A five-day week sits toward the lower end, a six-day week toward the top
- $40 short-haul pay on loads under 51 miles
- Stop pay that goes up to $15 per stop
- Eligible for the company's driver performance bonus
- Paid every week
Where you'll be going
- Grocery store deliveries around Birmingham, Atlanta, Southern Georgia and Southern Tennessee
- Consistent customer lanes, so you get to know the roads and the docks
- Live loads, live unloads and drop and hook, all 100% no-touch
How the schedule looks
- Home every day
- Day and night shifts are both available
- Weekend work comes with the job
- You should be open to working holidays
What we're hoping you have
- A valid Class A CDL
- Either 6 months of OTR experience (after training) in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the past 5 years
- Comfort with a urine and hair follicle drug screen
- Background details get asked later in the process, like any other job, so you don't need to gather anything to apply
What's included
- Medical, vision and dental
- Paid time off
- 401(k) with a company match
If home every night and no-touch grocery freight sounds right to you, send in an application. We'll take it from there.
