Arcadia Area Grocery Driver | Two Trips a Night | Home Daily

Two runs, one shift, and you're back in your own bed before sunrise. That's the rhythm on this overnight grocery route, and new CDL grads are welcome to apply.

THE ROUTE AT A GLANCE

• Two trips per shift
• Reefer trailers hauling groceries to a dedicated customer's stores
• Slip-seat equipment, so you hop in and go
• Live unloads at delivery

HOW YOU GET PAID

Most drivers earn about $1,300 a week, roughly $67,600 a year, paid on several layers:

• Mileage: $0.43 to $0.51 per mile to start
• Short-haul pay: $30 on loads under 90 miles
• Stop pay: $10 per stop
• Driver performance bonus program on top

WHEN YOU WORK

Nights only, on either a Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday schedule. Weekend work is required, and holiday work follows the customer's shipping schedule. You're home every day.

TWO WAYS TO QUALIFY

Fresh out of CDL school:

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 120 hours of CDL training
• No experience needed

Already driving:

• 6 months of OTR experience after training within the last 12 months, or
• 12 months of experience in the past 5 years

EITHER WAY

• Live within 25 miles of the hub area
• Pass urine and hair follicle drug screening
