Planner

Job Description Position Purpose: Manage inventory of raw materials and monitor the production schedules for the facility to achieve internal and external customer requirements. Participate in continuous improvement activities within a team environment. Manage supplier relationships in a manner consistent with supporting the development and implementation of supply chain programs. Essential Functions: * Reviewing/analyzing MRP daily and adjusting delivery schedules to support the production requirements. * Managing inventory levels of purchased components to achieve plant goals. * Communicates clearly, concisely, and completely too all functional areas of the plant. * Monitor plant ECN's and minimize plant excess and obsolescence. * Manage the utilization of Kanban, JIT, lot sizing and point of storage techniques in support of Plant goals. Education and Training: * Bachelor's Degree in business or related degree preferred, or equivalent experience * APICS certification or pursuing certification is a plus Minimum Qualifications: * Knowledge of MRPII required.
