Technical & Data Analyst

Position Summary

The Technical & Data Analyst supports the organization's data integrity, reporting infrastructure, and business technology processes. This role serves as an administrator for customer master data, acts as a backup resource for SQL and Power BI reporting, coordinates technology setup and support activities with third-party service providers, and leads data cleanup and process improvement initiatives.

The position combines business systems support, data management, reporting administration, and technology coordination to ensure accurate business information, efficient workflows, and reliable operational support across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Master Data Management (35%)

• Maintain customer, vendor, product, location, and operational master data
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Perform data cleanup and standardization projects

Reporting & Analytics Support (30%)

• Serve as backup resource for operational and financial reporting
• Maintain and troubleshoot SQL queries and reports
• Support Power BI dashboards and datasets
• Validate reporting accuracy and data integrity

Process Improvement & Project Support (20%)

• Support ERP enhancements and technology projects
• Document workflows and identify automation opportunities

Technology Coordination & Business Systems Support (15%)

• Coordinate new hire technology setup requests with the managed service provider (MSP)
• Track technology assets using Asset Panda
• Support Microsoft 365, VoIP, and business application access requests

Other

• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in business systems, master data, reporting, analytics, or ERP support
• Experience with customer master data
• SQL reporting experience
• Power BI experience
• Advanced Excel skills

Preferred

• Experience supporting or administering an ERP system
• Experience working with a managed service provider (MSP) on IT support
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain technical information in plain terms

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Office environment with extended periods of computer work
• Occasionally lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 25 lbs
• Schedule is primarily daytime, Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours to support projects or system issues
