Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) | Non-Retail Pharmacy

Healthcare Support is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) to join a growing pharmacy benefits team in Montvale, NJ! This is a great opportunity for pharmacy technicians looking to move away from traditional retail pharmacy and into a professional, office-based environment. We have multiple openings across member services, prior authorizations, pharmacy claims, and clinical pharmacy support. These positions offer Monday–Friday schedules, competitive compensation, and opportunities for career growth!

Compensation: $50,890–$63,612 annually, depending on position and experience.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Location: Montvale, NJ | Onsite

Daily Responsibilities for the Certified Pharmacy Technician: Responsibilities vary depending on the position and may include:

• Assist members with pharmacy benefit questions, medication coverage, and prescription-related concerns.
• Support prior authorization requests, pharmacy claims processing, and resolution of rejected claims.
• Review and organize clinical documentation to assist pharmacists with medication reviews and authorization decisions.
• Coordinate with members, pharmacies, prescribers, and clinical teams to resolve medication-related issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Required Qualifications for the Certified Pharmacy Technician:

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail, hospital, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare setting.
• Experience with pharmacy claims, prior authorizations, or medication-related customer service preferred; specific requirements vary by position.
• Strong medication knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
