Traveling Superintendent

Your new company A leading commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground‑up and remodel projects within the grocery and retail sector. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and knows how to keep complex, high‑visibility projects running smoothly. Your new role

• Lead day‑to‑day onsite operations for grocery/retail construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and site logistics
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, owners, and vendors
• Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and daily logs

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Direct experience with grocery or big‑box retail projects (required)
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, refrigeration, and fast‑track schedules
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain tight timelines
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Live in NC or SC
