Commercial Superintendent

Your new company An established General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to its team, delivering projects throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina. We’re looking for someone with a solid commercial construction background who can confidently lead projects from precon and mobilization through completion. Experience within healthcare and/or education construction is highly preferred, but not essential.

Your new role

• Lead day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site logistics.
• Manage project schedules and maintain key milestones.
• Ensure all work meets required safety, quality, and specification standards.
• Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site meetings and resolve field issues proactively.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.
• Strong commercial construction experience.
• Healthcare and/or education project experience preferred, but not required.
• Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, plans, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Multifamily/wood-frame focused backgrounds will not be considered.
• Ability to work on projects throughout Asheville and Western NC.
