Transportation Project Manager

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Engineer Project Manager to their Peoria team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage/complete engineering plans/specifications production using IDOT Standards
• Manage/complete IDOT or Local Agency Federal Aid Phase I/II projects for a variety of clients
• Lead a variety of projects and study types (roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements)
• Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients
• Assist with business development and client management opportunities for transportation and infrastructure projects preferred
• Assist with preparation of project-specific proposals, contract preparation, and teaming arrangements, and participate in project interviews

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years’ experience completing IDOT or Local Agency Phase II bid documents
• PE License
• Microstation/Open Roads Designer capabilities preferred
• Understanding of IDOT workflow
• Ability to travel throughout Illinois service areas (own transportation)
• Ability to attend client and in office meetings as required
• Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities

Salary is commensurate with experience.
