General Labor Crew Member

Hands for Hire is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our local labor crew in Rolla, Missouri. Crew Members assist customers with a variety of physical labor and property-service projects, including moving assistance, loading and unloading, furniture assembly, cleanouts, yard work, heavy lifting, and general labor.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with a team, and helping customers complete projects they may not have the time, equipment, or manpower to handle themselves. Work assignments may vary from job to job, so adaptability and a willingness to learn are important.

Assist with residential and commercial moving projects

Load and unload trucks, trailers, storage units, and other spaces

Safely lift, carry, move, and position furniture and other items

Perform garage, property, and general cleanouts

Assist with yard work and basic property maintenance

Assemble and disassemble furniture and other approved items

Help with general labor and physically demanding projects

Follow job instructions and communicate with customers and crew members

Protect customer property and work areas while performing services

Use company equipment and tools safely and responsibly

Take before-and-after photos when required

Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers

Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled jobs

Report job-site issues, damage, safety concerns, or changes in scope to the Crew Leader or supervisor

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all Hands for Hire safety, conduct, and operational procedures

Must be dependable and punctual

Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be comfortable working on a team

Good communication and customer-service skills

Must be willing to follow instructions and safety procedures

Must treat customers, coworkers, homes, and property with respect

Previous moving, landscaping, construction, warehouse, maintenance, or general labor experience is a plus but not required

Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures

Valid driver's license is a plus, but requirements may vary by position

Must meet applicable employment and eligibility requirements
