Software Developer Test Automation (C#/.NET)

About the Position

Handi Quilter is looking for a C#/.NET developer with software-testing experience to help build reliable Windows software for our longarm quilting machines. Your primary focus will be automated testing, with contributions to product features, bug fixes, and improvements alongside our development team. Hybrid flexibility depends on independence, performance, and project needs.

What You Will Do

• Turn requirements and product risks into test plans and automated regression coverage.
• Build and maintain automated tests and supporting tools in C#/.NET using MSTest.
• Investigate failures and contribute to product fixes and improved testability.
• Improve test coverage with developers and manual testers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education, coursework, or structured professional training in software testing or quality engineering,including test design and automation.
• Practical experience selecting test cases and evaluating coverage.
• Experience building and maintaining automated tests.
• Ability to write, read, and debug C#/.NET code for Windows applications or services and supporting testtools.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with the team.
• Ability to meet the on-site training and ongoing hybrid schedule in North Salt Lake.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WPF, C++, or software that communicates with hardware.
• Familiarity with Git or another version-control system.
• Experience with CI/CD or mentoring manual testers.
• Selenium or Playwright experience is helpful but secondary.
