Job Type/Title: Aide/Paraprofessional in an Intellectual Disability Classroom – Kindergarten & 6-7 Grade

Location: Cory-Rawson School

Job Description:

• Candidate should have a great deal of patience to work with students with academic, social and behavioral needs
• Provide appropriate support and encouragement to students
• Assist students with class work in small groups and individually
• Work under the supervision/direction of the classroom teacher
• Be willing to be trained to meet the behavioral and educational needs of the students
• Assist with toileting and personal hygiene for students

Requirements

Requirements:

• Clean background check
• ODE aide license – you will need to apply for this if you do not have one
• High School Diploma
• Participate in required training as provided
• RBT training preferred or a willingness to be trained
