- Monitor market developments and competitor pricing, promotions, and service offerings across tax preparation, financial services, and adjacent industries
- Design and evaluate pricing experiments, A/B tests, and market pilots, including defining success metrics and KPIs, analyzing results and statistical significance, and recommending next steps
- Develop pricing reporting, analytics, frameworks, tools, and best practices that strengthen pricing capabilities and support consistent, insight-driven decisions, while managing and developing a pricing data science analyst
- Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder alignment, and development of H&R Block's enterprise pricing roadmap
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in pricing strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, consumer insights, or a related discipline
- Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, including experience building business cases, performing "what-if" scenario modeling, and translating financial impacts into recommendations
- Strong understanding of pricing principles and concepts, including price elasticity, value-based pricing, promotional effectiveness, portfolio effects, and product roles
- Experience using consumer research, competitive analysis, and strategic business analysis to inform commercial decisions
