Gunnisonville Meadows Assisted Living Location: Lansing, Michigan Position: Part-Time -- Weekends Pay: $15.50 per hour Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays

Position Summary

Gunnisonville Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Weekend Activities Assistant to help create a fun, engaging, and meaningful environment for our senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead recreational activities, games, crafts, music, and social events.
• Encourage resident participation and social interaction.
• Provide one-on-one activities and companionship.
• Adapt activities to meet residents' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Assist with special events and celebrations.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with caregivers to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Creative, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage residents.
• Reliable and available to work weekends.
• Must meet applicable background screening requirements.
