Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities: - Operate a variety of equipment and tools to move materials safely within warehouses, production areas, or job sites - Load and unload items from trucks, conveyor belts, pallets, and storage racks - Sort, stack, and organize materials according to company specifications - Assist with inventory management, including counting, recording, and reporting material quantities - Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage, loss, or contamination - Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines - Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding material needs and workflow - Monitor equipment for proper functioning; report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly - Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient movement and storage of materials Requirements: - Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds - Familiarity with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (training available) - Basic math and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Flexible to work in varying environmental conditions and shifts as needed
