This is an opportunity for a strong maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, developing technicians, improving preventive maintenance programs, and keeping critical equipment running safely and reliably. This is not a desk-only supervisor role. We're looking for someone who can lead the maintenance team while also stepping in to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, PLC, and facility issues when needed. If you have industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and are ready to take ownership of equipment reliability and facility maintenance, we want to hear from you. About C&C Produce C&C Produce, a division of GS Foods Group, has served customers throughout the Midwest since 1992. What began as a family-run produce company has grown into a leading food distribution operation supporting schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, and foodservice organizations. Our fast-paced operation depends on reliable equipment, safe facilities, and a strong maintenance team - and this position plays a critical role in keeping our business moving. • Partner closely with Operations leadership to minimize downtime and support production and distribution needs.

Own Equipment Reliability & Preventive Maintenance

  • Manage and continuously improve the facility's preventive maintenance program.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective solutions.
  • Review equipment performance and maintenance history to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Ensure daily pre-operational equipment inspections are completed and deficiencies are addressed.

You'll also support emergency repairs and equipment breakdowns when necessary to get operations safely back online. Safety, Food Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain safe work practices, including proper lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and outside service providers when specialized support is required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment safety, reliability, and overall facility performance.

The Right Person for This Role You'll likely thrive here if you're the person others call when equipment goes down because you can stay calm, diagnose the problem, and get to the root cause. We're looking for a leader who can develop people, establish maintenance standards, improve preventive maintenance, and still roll up their sleeves when the operation needs technical support. Why Join C&C Produce? You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact on a growing operation where maintenance is critical to our success.
