Full-time (1.0 FTE), 8-hour day, 12-month, Competitive Civil Service Position

• Prepares, analyzes and/or designs program specifications, documentation forms, flow charts and diagrams to adopt various types of operating methods to electronic data processing;
• Plans and prepares programming and operational specifications;
• May assist with scheduling of projects within the programming area;
• Analyzes and modifies programs, systems and operations for completeness and accuracy through all phases of implementation and continued operation;
• Assists Programmers with the preparation and modification of programs and systems;
• Acts as liaison with user departments to insure quality, accuracy and appropriateness of information input-output requirements and information flow;
• Attends meetings to integrate work within the County and to coordinate projects with other departments;
• Confers with other staff members on program ideas and methods to improve the system productivity;
• Provides orientation, instruction and technical assistance to data processing staff members and others.
