JOB SUMMARY:

Warehouse Shipping & Receiving includes: •Receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record •Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method •Recording received and shipped items

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key aspects to his role are noted belowOversees all rail for the WM campus.
• Supervises the ADRS switching crew
• Works with CPKC (ordering, delivery and billing of rail cars)
• Ensures that all rail (tracks/equipment) is maintained throughout the campus
• Monitors Roll Stock and cull roll rail shipments
• Corrects billing issues before rail can ship from the campus
• Month end reports to accounting
• Monitors orders in OptiVison to ensure there are rail routes in SAP for new customers
• Investigates rail related damage claims to our productDunnage/supplies/cores, etc…
• Maintain inventories for: cores, plugs, strapping, dunnage, labels and all materials needed for shipping rolls out of the mill
• Gilmer and Riverbarge warehouses also
• Creates requisitions for the above and then works with the vendors for GRs
• Creates monthly POs and yearly blanket POsWorks in SAP to correct issues with billing – orders – and shipmentsFills in for the Logistics Sr Manager when needed

Education & Experience:

BA or equivalent + 10 yrs related experience, or MA + 8 yrs related experience
