Wanted: Tax Manager

An excellent CPA firm is adding a TAX MANAGER to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff.

Tax Manager Responsibilites:

• Perform tax returns for individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, trusts, and nonprofit organizations
• Perform technical tax review of tax returns of staff accountants
• Independently research tax issues
• Follow tax compliance laws and discuss with clients as needed
• Oversee a team of highly motivated staff / train staff
• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
• Review tax returns prepared by staff

Qualifications Include:

• CPA license required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• At least five years of experience in Public Accounting
• Customer-centric with excellent relationship and adaptability skills
• Detailed, well-organized, with strong communication skills
• Exhibits a strong team-player attitude in helping co-workers succeed
• Results-oriented with a high level of integrity and dependability
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment while making decisions based on accurate and timely analysi
• Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
• High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skills
