Transportation Sales Executive - Specialized Freight

Base Salary: $110,000–$120,000 DOE + Aggressive Commissions

A well-established transportation company is seeking an experienced Sales Executive with an established customer network and a transferable book of business. This opportunity offers responsibility for developing business, growing customer accounts, and expanding transportation solutions.

What’s Offered

• $110,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience.

• Sales commissions in addition to base pay.

• A higher base may be considered depending on the size and quality of your transferable business.

• Hybrid arrangement with several office days per week and flexibility for customer and prospect meetings.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business through existing relationships and industry contacts.

• Grow customer accounts by identifying additional lanes and service opportunities.

• Build relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and industrial customers.

• Develop proposals, negotiate rates, and close business.

• Partner with operations to align customer expectations with service delivery.

• Monitor customer needs and continue expanding your network.

What You Bring

• Proven success selling transportation or logistics services.

• Existing customer relationships and a transferable book of business are required.

• Experience developing, retaining, and growing shipper accounts.

• Understanding of transportation pricing, capacity, and service requirements.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Specialized freight experience is preferred, including flatbed, heavy haul, hot shot, or oversize/overweight transportation.
