Location: Park Ridge, NJ (other offices or remote considered)

Overview

A nationally ranked, fast-growing accounting, tax and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager with construction industry tax experience. The role can be based in its Park Ridge, New Jersey office (other Northeast and Florida offices, or remote in the U.S., are also considered).

Responsibilities

• Direct tax seniors, semi-seniors, associates and staff accountants
• Ensure assignments are completed within budgeted time
• Work with clients throughout the year on tax issues
• Identify risk management issues and propose solutions through research and collaboration
• Conduct research and draw conclusions on targeted tax issues
• Build technical knowledge through training, industry events and research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's in taxation preferred
• 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
• Construction tax experience required
• CPA license required
• Technical proficiency in corporate, federal and state tax, plus C corporation, partnership and individual/trust taxation
• Experience with consolidated federal returns, partnership returns and combined state returns
• Proficiency with ProSystems and CCH tax software
• Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
