Tax Senior Manager
Location: Madison, WI (other Wisconsin offices considered)
Overview
A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its Madison, Wisconsin practice (Janesville, Milwaukee and Appleton also considered). The role delivers industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle-market clients and mentors staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle-market clients
- Work with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business
- Mentor and coach staff on technical and professional skills
- Manage complex tax engagements and client relationships
- Support business development
- Stay current on tax law changes affecting clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's or advanced degree desirable
- CPA or EA required
- 8+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance and consulting
- Strong technical tax and leadership skills
