Tax Senior
Location: Frisco, TX (or Dallas / Houston, TX)
Overview
A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Senior for its North Texas practice. Frisco is among the listed Texas offices (Dallas and Houston also considered). The role provides federal tax compliance and consulting to S corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations.
Responsibilities
- Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to S corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations
- Participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses
- Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation
- Develop recommendations for clients and share with leadership
- Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters
- Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA eligible or working toward CPA
- Prior public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on engagement teams
