Location: Lakeland, FL (or Orlando / Naples / Fort Myers, FL)

Overview

A national professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager or Director for its growing Florida business tax practice. Lakeland is among the listed locations (Orlando, Naples and Fort Myers also considered).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
• Lead, schedule, supervise and review tax engagements
• Develop and train team members
• Perform a range of tax procedures based on the size and complexity of each engagement
• Attend industry events and trainings and build industry expertise
• Review complex partnership, pass-through and S corporation tax returns

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm (8+ highly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Active CPA (JD or EA may be accepted)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to help clients and team members succeed
