Tax Manager
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Overview
A respected Arizona CPA firm with offices in the Phoenix metro is seeking a Tax Manager to help guide its tax team. The firm offers a hybrid work environment and flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Review and oversee tax returns and projects for partnerships, S corporations and individuals
- Supervise, train and mentor staff
- Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda and recommendations
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and deliver practical solutions
- Interact directly with clients to gather information, resolve challenges and recommend solutions
- Develop new business and nurture existing client relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Management experience in a public accounting firm
- Strong technical and leadership skills with a client service focus
- Excellent communication, organizational and project management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and deadline driven
