What You'll Do

  • Prepare (about 40%) and review (about 40%) individual and business tax returns
  • Handle administrative and leadership responsibilities (about 10%)
  • Research technical tax questions and stay current on tax law changes
  • Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior staff and interns
  • Assist with client tax planning and special projects
  • Support the development of future firm leaders

What You Bring

  • Active CPA license (required)
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S returns
  • Strong knowledge of current tax law and the ability to research complex questions
  • Strong mentoring, training, and client communication skills
  • Corporate, municipal, and nonprofit experience preferred but not required

Career Path: Senior Manager, then Director, then Partner

What's Offered

  • Hybrid work schedule and a genuine focus on work-life balance
  • Overtime pay for hours over 50 per week, which can be banked as pay or time off
  • Profit-sharing on new clients you bring to the firm
  • Medical, dental, life, accident/disability, and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k), vacation, personal days, and sick days
  • Continuing education and professional development
  • Clear succession planning and leadership opportunities, without an aggressive business-development requirement
