Tax Manager | Milwaukee, WI
Ready to run a section of the tax practice and grow people under you? An expanding public accounting firm prized for low turnover and collaboration is hiring a Tax Manager in Milwaukee.
About the Role:
- Serve as a primary advisor for business and individual tax clients
- Mentor, train and develop staff and seniors on the tax team
- Review complex returns before they go out the door
- Lead planning and year-end projection conversations with owners
- Research technical issues and document sound conclusions
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Solid command of federal and state tax regulations
