Tax Director - Flow-Through
Location: San Francisco, CA (other Northern California offices considered)
Overview
A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Director focused on flow-through taxation for private equity portfolio company clients. San Francisco is among the listed California offices (other Northern California offices also considered). The director serves clients, builds the practice and mentors staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead flow-through tax compliance and consulting for private equity portfolio companies
- Work with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business
- Mentor and coach staff on technical and professional skills
- Oversee complex partnership and S corporation tax matters
- Coordinate with specialty tax teams as needed
- Support business development and client relationship growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA or equivalent credential required
- Significant public accounting tax experience at a senior manager or director level
- Deep flow-through / partnership tax experience
- Private equity or portfolio company experience preferred
