Came up through the trades, run ground-up jobs, and want a local company that gives you a truck and the holidays off? Let's talk.
I'm working with a long-established commercial general contractor in the Philadelphia suburbs. They have a deep backlog and are adding a Site Superintendent to run ground-up projects.
What's in it for you:
- $120K-$130K base, about $140K total first year
- Company vehicle
- Full medical, dental and 401k
- The company closes for almost 2 weeks in December
- Local Philadelphia-area work, no living out of a hotel
What you'll do:
- Run day-to-day field operations on ground-up commercial projects
- Manage subcontractors, manpower, trade sequencing and lookahead schedules
- Lead jobsite safety, quality control and inspections
- Coordinate with PMs, owners, architects, engineers and municipalities
- Handle daily reports, RFIs, punch lists and turnover
What you bring:
- 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction
- A hands-on trade background, like carpentry, is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of framing, envelope, MEP coordination and finishes
- OSHA 30 required
- Procore or similar
- Philadelphia-area based
