What you'll handle:
- Collaborate with steel erectors and project managers on constructability and erection sequencing
- Assemble complete estimates for material, shop labor, and erection, and prepare proposals
- Get and compare quotes for detailing, erection, galvanizing, coatings, and freight
- Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing for structural and miscellaneous steel from plans and specs
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience
- Excellent at reading blueprints
- Familiar with Tekla EPM, SDS2, or similar estimating software
