Looking for your next business development seat? An AISC-certified Michigan steel erector is hiring a permanent full-time Business Development Manager to win Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Pay is $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, and the role includes Midwest travel.
Your role
- Travel across the Midwest meeting clients and moving pursuits forward
- Open doors with general contractors and owners for new steel erection work
- Plan and run pursuits on major structural packages of 5,000+ tons
- Watch bid schedules, competitor moves, and project forecasts across the region
- Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and at industry functions
You likely have
- Sales or BD experience with a steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction company
- Experience competing for large Midwest tonnage work
- A network among general contractors, fabricators, or owners (preferred)
- Willingness to travel around the Midwest
- Strong communication skills and a habit of turning leads into wins
